Russian Imperial Badge of the 15th Shlusselburg Infantry Regiment, 1909
Up for auction is a rare Russian Badge of the 15th Shlusselburg Infantry Regiment of the General-Field Marshal Prince Anikita Repnin.
Wreath of laurel and oak branches bound by a ribbon tied in a bow with the raised gold date “1700”. Inside the wreath, superimposed on one another, are the cypher of the Emperor Peter I and the cypher of the Emperor Nicholas II beneath the gold Imperial crown. Beneath the cyphers is the gold Shlusselburg Regiment coat of arms. This particular badge is for soldier, bronze, gilded. Very rare! On the auction Gelos (Russia) the same badge in VF condition in 2006 was sold for $1500. Original pictures. Silver, gilded, enamelled. Size is 48 x 36 mm, weight is 17,64 g.
